About TEXCA® Wall article

TEXCA® Wall Technology

TEXCA® Wall is a lightweight aggregate concrete wall panel reinforced with TEXCA® ceramic aggregate that is light in weight but high in strength when compared to other lightweight aggregate materials. TEXCA® ceramic aggregate is produced with an advanced firing technique at a temperature higher than 1250°C

TEXCA® is a kind of aggregate materials that is lightweight but higher in strength when compared to other aggregate materials. Due to its high firing temperature of 1,250 °C, TEXCA® has the strength of ceramic but is light in weight. TEXCA® Wall which is reinforced with TEXCA® lightweight ceramic aggregate has the specialty of high strength, lightweight, excellent performance of thermal insulation, acoustic, fire resistance, and low water absorption.

The concrete used to produced TEXCA® Wall is dense while being lightweight. Instead of having a porous structure like that of white AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) or grey CLC (Cellular Lightweight Concrete) block, TEXCA® Wall is reinforced with lightweight ceramic aggregate that is widely-used in the U.S. and Europe. TEXCA® Wall is reinforced with the same material that can be used to reinforced structural concrete. TEXCA® Wall has lower water absorption rate and is 2 – 3 times stronger than AAC or CLC lightweight block.
